Senior Accountant Responsibilities and Duties
- Verifying allocating, posting and reconciling accounts payable and receivable
- Independently complete month end reconciliations, including but not limited to: Cash, AR, AP, Prepaids, Accrued Expenses, Payroll Liabilities, Sales Tax Liabilities and Intercompany
- Producing error-free accounting reports and presenting their results
- Assist in payroll calculation and bookkeeping
- Tag and monitor fixed assets; participate in the annual inventory process
- Record financial information for analysis
- Assist in preparing documents and interpreting complicated financial information for managers and executives
- Forecast and plan for future needs
- Assist with Audits and Taxes
- Maintain account balances and bank statements
- Assist month-end and year-end close processes
- Ensure compliance with all internal processes
- Liaise with the accounting team to improve financial procedures
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, or equivalent job experience
- Previous experience as an accountant or accounting supervisor
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills; Knowledge of and experience with MS Microsoft Office Suite, Google, computerized accounting software, Accumatica highly desirable
- Advanced MS Excel accounting skills, including Vlookups and Pivot Tables
