We are excited to announce a unique opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join our team in Chandler, AZ. This is a newly created role, a testament to our team's growth and success. Essential job functions / duties
Prepares financial reports and accounting statements.
Posts journal entries to the general ledger.
Generate summary sheets for use by the supervisor or auditor
Processes payroll and prepares payroll reports.
Verify accounting reports for clerical accuracy.
Allocates expenditures to correct accounts according to departmental procedures
Foster an environment of trust and collaboration
Performs other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Education and Background required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred
CMA candidate preferred
At least five (5) years of relevant work experience as an Analyst, Auditor, or Accountant
Thorough understanding of bookkeeping procedures and practices
Ability to train others in related practices and procedures regarding bookkeeping.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions thoroughly.
Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
