Business Development and Operations Manager – Greenville, SC

Job Overview:
Mint Condition is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development and Operations Manager to join our Greenville, SC team. This individual will play a key role in driving new business, managing client relationships, and overseeing day-to-day operations for the region.
Key Responsibilities
Sales:
- New Business Development:
- Make sales calls to generate new business and increase account base.
- Complete project bidding and create cleaning proposals.
- Achieve a minimum of $1,500 in new sales per month.
- Marketing Program:
- Develop and implement a target market list (Top 50) and follow up on past proposals.
- Organize and conduct prospecting calls to continually generate leads and meet sales goals.
Operations:
- Account Oversight:
- Meet Franchisees at new accounts to review essential documents (Contract Control Sheet, Work Specifications, Communication Logbook, etc.).
- Routine inspections of Customer premises to ensure quality standards.
- Provide feedback to Franchisees based on inspection results to minimize cancellation rates (target: 15% or less).
- Review Customer complaints, verify that they’ve been addressed according to Customer expectations.
- Assess and recommend changes to Work Specifications and cleaning frequency as needed.
- Provide pricing for special services and schedule accordingly.
- Staffing and Subcontracting:
- Assign Franchisees to new accounts based on business needs and Franchisee capacity.
- Recruit subcontractors to ensure adequate staffing and meet client demand.
Franchisee Management:
- Franchisee Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Respond to Franchisee inquiries, conduct initial interviews, and guide them through the Franchise Disclosure Document process.
- Oversee Franchisee onboarding, including training scheduling and completion.
- Provide classroom training and follow-up on-site training.
- Ongoing Support:
- Communicate Customer requests to Franchisees and ensure they are addressed to Customer satisfaction.
- Build a network of Franchisees to manage the growth of business and reassignment of Customers.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 3-5 years of business development and team leadership experience, preferably in a related industry.
- Skills:
- Strong consultative, prospecting, and follow-up skills for business growth.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire Franchisees to deliver superior customer service.
- Organizational and time management skills, with an eye for detail.
- Communication skills—both written and verbal—are crucial.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree required.
