Job Title: Buyer/Planner
Location: Frankfort, KY

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE, SKILLS and/or ABILITIES:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field preferred
- 3-5 Years Extensive experience in a manufacturing environment
- Industry Certification such as the Advancing Productivity, Innovation and Competitive Success (APICS), Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), or Supply
- Chain Management (SCM) credentials is preferred.
- General knowledge of the scheduling process and material planning requirements
- Good understanding of production operations, Quality System Procedure and SOP’s, and a good understanding of continuous improvement/LEAN methods.
- Practical experience in production planning, production materials, forecasting, inventory management, Supplier relationship management, and Risk management is essential.
- Strong organizational/prioritization skills
- Good analytical/problem solving skills
- Ability to read and comprehend complex analytical instructions, correspondence, and memos. Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other various personnel in the organization.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office 365
- Proficient in MRP/ERP tools
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $59,269.00 - $65,000.00 per year
