Job Title : Construction Manager

Job Summary :
The Construction Manager will oversee and be responsible for construction activities related to new construction, renovations, and various capex projects. The Construction Manager will work closely with the Development Manager and the Vice President of Construction and Maintenance throughout the construction / renovation life of the project. The Construction Manager will be responsible for ensuring quality deliverables, on-time and within budget. In addition, the Construction manager will bring to the table the latest in cost-saving applications.
Key Responsibilities :
Administrative
- Approve and process all project invoices.
- Maintain an up-to-date budget, schedule, and project directory for all projects.
- Maintain a real estate development tickler and ensure the timely release of bonds, letters of credit, and escrow account monies.
- Serve as liaison between outside legal counsel, financial and other professional consultants as well as state agencies, municipalities, and zoning authorities.
- Understanding of legal contracts, AIA documents, and other related construction draw forms.
- Supervise storage and filing of all plans and blueprints in both hard copy and electronic format.
- Prepare correspondence on a timely, professional, and accurate basis.
- Schedule prepare for and attend portfolio reviews with third-party landlords.
Weekly detailed construction reports and progress photos.
Assist the Director of Construction and Maintenance.
