The position involves graphic design, print production, and customer service. Must have graphic / layout skills and the ability to learn and grow with our company. Be able to create new designs and concepts to meet customer requirements.
This may include any of the following design requirements: Company rebranding logos, business cards, business stationary, forms, banners, and window graphic design.
Duties of the Print Shop Graphic Design candidate will include:
- Work with relevant design related programs, including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Layout and manipulate various projects based on the customer’s needs.
- Preparing files for print production; checking fonts, links and colors, and imposing art when required. (Setting files multiple up with cut marks)
- Review job specification from work orders and ensure that client files are accurate to produce jobs.
- Operate copiers/printers and finish materials. Includes cutting flyers/business cards, processing mailers, binding books, folding brochures, padding notepads, etc.
- Customer service: assisting and consulting with clients about their projects in person, on the phone, and via email.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Have excellent people skills and communication skills. Positive and friendly.
- Be able to work independently and be able to multi-task/handle several client jobs at the same time.
- Experience at a print or copy shop is preferred but not required.
Hours are flexible. For example: 9am-1pm, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
