Minuteman Press, the world's largest and top-rated digital print, marketing and design franchise is seeking a candidate for Print Shop Assistant/Customer Service Rep at it's Pittsburgh South Side location.
The position involves customer service, bindery work, and deliveries. Must have strong graphic / layout skills and the ability to learn and grow with our company. A graphic design background or print shop background is helpful.
Duties of the candidate will include:
- Light Production: cutting flyers/business cards, processing mailers, binding books, folding brochures, padding notepads, etc.
- Customer service: assisting and consulting with clients about their projects in person, on the phone and via email.
- Servicing walk in customers with making copies
- Direct customer interactions when delivering projects.
- Lifting packages up to 50 lbs.
- Loading and unloading boxes in vehicle.
- Preparing/packaging and shipping completed jobs. Maintain an orderly work area.
- Organize packages and deliver to customers/post office.
- Must be courteous with customers.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a clean driving record.
- Have reliable vehicle for deliveries.
- Be a safe driver.
- Have excellent people skills and communication skills.
- Be positive and friendly!
- Be able to work independently and be able to multi-task/handle several client jobs at the same time.
- Be able to handle a fast-paced, busy environment.
- Experience at a print or copy shop is preferred but not required.
- FEDEX Office, UPS Store, and Staples Print Shop experience very helpful!

Hours are flexible: typical hours Monday, Wednesday, & Friday 10am - 2pm

- Customer service: 1 year (Required)
