Minuteman is recruiting for a full-time Investigator contractor position at Merck, a global biopharmaceutical leader with a diverse portfolio of prescription medicines, oncology, vaccines, and animal health products.

What you’ll be doing (and doing well!):
The Merck Global Security Group (GSG) Investigator for the North America Team supports/assists with proactive and reactive investigations involving terminations, conducts risk analysis, interviews, evidence review and implements threat mitigation.
The Investigator will respond timely to these cases as guided by the Executive Director of the North America Team. They will follow policies and procedures to adequately mitigate, resolve, escalate, or otherwise appropriately address cases at hand. In this role, the Investigator will respond to separations, review evidence, conduct presentations, create reports, and input information into case management system.
The Investigator will also support various Areas of Responsibilities within North America when required.
The role requires internal collaboration by participating in biweekly and ad hoc meetings with Team members, to provide updates on investigative matters. Collaboration across various areas of the business, including HR is vital.
What we Like about you:
- 10 years of investigative experience in Law Enforcement, Intelligence, Military, Corporate Security.
- Bachelor's degree required
- Excellent communicator with highly developed inter-personal skills
- Excellent written communication skills
- Demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining collaborative solid working relationships with colleagues across the enterprise to include contractors, other external contacts, and to work effectively in a high-performing forward thinking team environment
- Proven ability to work with highly confidential information and interact comfortably with executive level leadership
- Expertise in Case Management Systems
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize security needs to meet multiple deadlines
- Ability to work in highly collaborative and matrixed environment
- Strong analytical skills with proven ability to apply knowledge
- Must be innovative and independent, able to manage an aggressive workload in a high performing environment
- A strong investigative background
- Experience in the planning of complex operations
- Experience operating in an international context
- Microsoft Office skills
- Knowledge of Merck/MSD product portfolio
