Join Our Team as a Summer Instructor at MiraCosta College for Kids!

MiraCosta College for Kids is seeking passionate and enthusiastic part-time instructors for our Summer College for Kids program! If you love working with young learners and have expertise in any of the subjects below, we’d love to hear from you.

Program Details:
Schedule: Classes run from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM or 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM each day.
Location: MiraCosta College
Who We’re Looking For: Engaging, knowledgeable instructors who can inspire students in a fun, hands-on learning environment.

• Cooking: Top Chef & Master Chef (Ages 9-11 & 12-14)
• Technology: Techno Nerds (Ages 11-14)
• Engineering: Young Engineers (Ages 6-9)
• Entrepreneurship: Future Business Leaders (Ages 11-13)
• Study Skills: Academic Success Strategies (Ages 11-14)
• Medical Science: Jr. Medical Camp & Medical Camp (Ages 6-9 & 10-13)

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging course content tailored to student needs and learning objectives.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
• Collaborate with staff to enhance academic programs and support student success.

Qualifications

• One year teaching experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with kids
• Ability to design and implement engaging lesson plans
• Experience in teaching children
• Knowledge and experience in teaching subject
• Commitment to fostering a positive and fun learning environment

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
