Miramont is looking for a Front Desk Concierge to be the welcoming face of our Club, fostering exceptional relationships with members and their guests. As the central hub of Club activities, the front desk plays a key role in ensuring a seamless experience. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and booking guest rooms, as well as providing support to the Lead Concierge, Clubhouse Manager, and other Club Managers as needed. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Club operations and a passion for delivering outstanding service with meticulous attention to detail. Duties
- Warmly greets members and guests upon arrival and departure, ensuring a welcoming experience.
- Addresses and fulfills member requests, including phone calls, correspondence, and package management.
- Promptly and courteously resolves member and guest concerns to ensure satisfaction.
- Monitors incoming and outgoing traffic, reporting any suspicious activity to management.
- Maintains a strong knowledge of the Club’s telephone and voicemail systems to assist with inquiries.
- Answers calls, relay messages, and provide information to members and guests efficiently.
- Offers concierge services, assisting guests with special requests to enhance their experience.
- Accepts and manage dining room reservations with accuracy.
- Oversees hotel and guest room reservations, including cancellations and no-shows, ensuring seamless operations.
- Verifies guest room readiness, coordinating with Housekeeping to ensure smooth check-ins/check-outs.
- Manages the sign-in/sign-out process for Club keys, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Provides wake-up calls for overnight guests as needed.
- Accurately verifies and processes guest room charges while performing night audits.
- Expedites check-ins and departures for efficiency and convenience.
- Fosters effective communication and collaboration with all Club departments.
- Reports any issues to Housekeeping and Engineering for timely resolution.
- Performs general administrative tasks, such as word processing, filing, and operating office equipment.
- Greets job applicants, assisting with application forms and required documentation.
- Manages member-family relations duties, including obituaries, thank-you letters, get-well cards, birthday greetings, and floral arrangements.
- Attends assigned meetings to stay informed on Club updates and initiatives.
- Supports various departments with projects, including preparing statements, newsletters, marketing materials, and meeting resources.
- Oversees lost and found items, ensuring proper registration and retrieval.
- Sorts, distribute, and manage incoming mail, magazines, and newspapers.
- Performs additional tasks as assigned by the Lead Concierge, Clubhouse Manager, or Management.
Qualifications
- Good attitude and highly motivated self-starter.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- College Education preferred.
- Hotel, private club, concierge or receptionist experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Extremely strong communication skills using spoken and written words in a professional manner to members, guests and staff.
- Proficient with English grammar and possesses skills in news-style writing, feature writing,
copywriting, proofreading and editing.
- Must be able to handle stress in a healthy and professional manner.
- Must be able to complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
- Has the ability to learn new technologies as necessary.
- Knowledge of and ability to perform required role during emergency situations.
- Ability to keep information confidential and operate with honesty and integrity.
