JOB SUMMARY
Provide a high standard of cleanliness throughout the offices and public areas of Miramont Country Club, while following and completing a checklist of tasks in accordance to company standards.
Essential Job Functions
- Ensures guest suites, including bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, and kitchens (if applicable), are cleaned to the highest standards. Perform dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing of all surfaces.
- Replaces bed linens, towels, and other guestroom textiles, ensuring proper laundering and presentation.
- Replenishes toiletries, towels, coffee, tea, and other in-room supplies as needed.
- Identifies and reports any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items to the Director of Housekeeping or Management.
- Collects, sorts, and transports linens to the laundry area, ensuring proper washing and storage.
- Keeps carts and storage areas clean and organized while ensuring sufficient cleaning supplies are available.
- Removes trash and recycling from suites and public areas, following waste disposal guidelines.
- Adheres to the Club's cleanliness standards and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Follows policies regarding hotelroom entry, lost and found procedures, and members confidentiality.
- Greets members and guests courteously and assist with reasonable requests when encountered.
- Performs any other tasks assigned by the Director of Housekeeping, Assistant Director of Housekeeping or Management.
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Hotel or private club cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong housekeeping skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable with taking direction, as well as communicating with fellow team members within and outside of team.
- Highly responsible and well-organized in tending to the assigned area and beyond.
- Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
- Remain standing and walking for several hours during a work shift.
- Must be able to stand; walk; climb stairs; bend; stoop; kneel and use hands to finger, handle or feel.
- Must be able to climb a ladder up to 12 ft.
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
- Must be able to moderate noise levels in the work environment.
- Must be able to handle hot and cold interior and outdoor conditions.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
