Seasonal Pool Concession Stand Worker

Miramont Country Club is seeking an enthusiastic and service-oriented Summer Pool Concession Stand Worker (aka Sweet Spot Attendant) to provide exceptional counter service to our members and guests. The attendant is responsible for warmly greeting Members and their guests, efficiently serving ice cream, food and beverages as well as maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the Sweet Spot.

Job Functions

• Delivers exceptional, friendly, and efficient customer service.
• Maintains in-depth product knowledge to accurately explain product details to customers.
• Consistently scoops and serves ice cream according to established portioning guidelines.
• Prepares all orders from the Sweet Spot Menu accurately and in accordance with Miramont standards.
• Operates fryers and food warmers safely, adhering to all safety protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
• Follows Texas state food safety procedures to ensure proper food handling and sanitation.
• Restocks ice cream, supplies, and toppings as needed to maintain smooth operations.
• Ensures accurate billing of member accounts.
• Keeps the work area clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout the shift.
• Enforces Club rules, regulations, and policies to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
• Ensures all safety, accident, and emergency procedures are in place and strictly followed.
• Understands and executes assigned emergency roles when necessary.
• Performs additional tasks as assigned by the F&B Service Manager, F&B Director, or Clubhouse Manager.

• Must be able to complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
• Has the ability to learn new technologies as necessary.

Physical Requirements

• Required to work irregular and extended hours including weekends and holidays
• Remain standing and walking for several hours during a work shift
• Must be able to stand; walk; bend; stoop; kneel and use hands to finger, handle or feel.
• Must be able to reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to moderate noise levels in the work environment.
• Must be able to handle hot and cold interior and outdoor conditions.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to see the computer screen, paperwork, etc.

Licenses and Special Requirements

• Food Handler’s Certification.
