What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Engineer position at Miratech?
What You’ll Do:
- Review and assess customers' technical requirements.
- Ensure proposed solutions are correctly sized and constructed to meet quality standards.
- Design, analyze, size, and quote custom products or services to meet customer needs.
- Support senior project engineers and project managers in project execution.
- Estimate project costs and consult on product design with sales and production teams.
- Technical lead on assigned projects.
- Provide operations support for new and custom products and projects.
- Installation and troubleshooting service work for new and custom products in the field.
- Create tools for matured products to transition to Catalyzer or other teams.
- Ability and willingness to mentor and teach other Engineers.
What Qualifies You:
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline; Mechanical preferred.
- 0-6 Years in a related engineering field or engineering employment at MIRATECH
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and wiring interconnects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional experience with time management, organization skills, meeting project deadlines, problem solving, creative solutions, and data analysis.
- Ability to work independently to produce high-caliber deliverables in a short time frame.
- Working knowledge of Syspro ERP software desired.
- Proficient with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficient with SolidWorks CAD or equivalent
- Commitment to MIRATECH and positive sense of culture.
