Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with operating METAL laser cutting machines and possess a strong mechanical aptitude.
Duties:
- Operate and maintain laser cutting machines to cut, trim, or form workpieces to specifications
- Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure accuracy
- Utilize CNC programming to control the laser cutting process
- Assemble and disassemble machine components as needed
- Use tools such as calipers for precise measurements
- Perform basic maintenance on equipment
Experience:
- Prior experience operating METAL laser cutting machines is preferred
- Knowledge of mechanical processes and tools including milling machines, lathes, and press brake machines
- Ability to perform quality inspections using tools like calipers
- Experience with crane operation is a plus
