We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Counter Person to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently managing transactions. Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders.
• Operate the cash register and manage transactions accurately.
• Utilize Aloha POS system for order entry and payment processing.
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area and dining space.
• Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to culinary standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food.
• Buss tables promptly to maintain a clean dining environment for guests.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner.

Skills

• Strong upselling abilities to maximize sales opportunities.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
• Experience operating a cash register in a retail or food service environment.
• Background in kitchen operations or grocery store settings is advantageous.
• Knowledge of culinary practices to assist in food preparation tasks.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
