POSITION SUMMARY :

The Infant Mental Health Specialist is responsible for providing professional mental health services to an assigned caseload. These services shall include in-home therapeutic services and case management services to parents and infants experiencing psycho-social stressors constraining that parent's capacity to nurture and bond with the infant.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS :

  • Master's degree in social work, clinical psychology or related mental health
  • Appropriate professional registration / certification by State / national authority required (L.M.S.W.,L.L.P., R.N., etc.)
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and have access to a private vehicle for day-to-day job performance
  • Proficient in use of computer and working with Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Michigan Association of Infant Mental Health Level Two or Level Three endorsement preferred
  • Fluency in Spanish preferred

COMPENSATION :

46,023- $58,233 Annual (Full Time / Union)
