Position Title: IT Support Specialist
Reports To: IT Manager
Position Summary
As an IT Support Specialist, you will provide technical assistance, help with installation, upgrade and troubleshoot hardware and software systems. If you’re a hard-working computer-savvy person that enjoys supporting end users, and willing to get your hands dirty with a growing agriculture company, we’d like to meet you. To succeed in this role, you should have a problem-solving attitude, ability to give clear technical instructions, familiarity with remote troubleshooting techniques and most importantly provide a high level of customer service in a timely manner resulting in user satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Address user tickets regarding hardware, software and networking
· Walk customers through installing applications and computer peripherals
· Ask targeted questions to diagnose problems
· Provide users with simple, step-by-step instructions
· Conduct remote troubleshooting
· Escalate unresolved issues to the next level of management support
· Follow up with clients to ensure their systems are functional
· Report customer feedback and potential product requests
Qualifications
· Hands-on experience with Windows 10/Android/iOS. Working knowledge of Windows Server OS is a plus.
· Familiarity with the Microsoft Azure platform
· Experience with the Microsoft 365 Office platform
· Proficient in relevant computer applications
· Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, i.e., multi- function/label printers, scanners
· Knowledge of network security practices
· Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear directions
· Knowledge of Famous ERP software and Exacqvision is a plus
· Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task
· Customer Service oriented
· Ability to work in a wet & cold environment with temps at approximately 38°
· 10%-20% travel between sites
· Bilingual – Spanish a plus
Education
· Bachelor's Degree or 3-5 years' help desk or training experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
