What are the responsibilities and job description for the Swim Instructor position at Miss Anna's Swim School?
Well-established, private swim lesson program in West Nashville is seeking instructors for the spring and summer. Our swim lessons meet in small groups and instructors team teach each age and skill level group.
Instructors should be dependable, safety-conscious and have excellent communication skills. Candidates should have experience working with children. Previous experience teaching swim lessons is helpful, but not required, and current lifeguard certification is a plus.
Swim lessons meet Monday through Friday and positions are available weekday mornings and afternoons, with no weekend or evening hours.
We are actively hiring now and offer paid training.
Summary
As a swim instructor, you will be responsible for teaching swimming techniques and ensuring the safety of all participants. Strong communication skills and experience with children will be essential as you foster their confidence and skills in the water.
Responsibilities
- Instruct and supervise swimming lessons for children of various skill levels, ensuring a safe, educational and engaging environment.
- Communicate effectively with students regarding progress and safety protocols.
- Foster a positive learning atmosphere while encouraging physical fitness and teamwork through aquatic activities.
