Mobile Swim Instructor for Private Swim Lessons

Do you love the water and teaching? Are you confident working independently through an app? Are you confident managing your own clientele? Sea Love Swim provides swim instructors for swim lessons at home and community pools. Our trained instructors travel from pool to pool to service our swim lesson clients. We will train you with our swim lesson method (online) We offer flexibility as you choose your own hours and service area you are willing to travel to. Ability for growth as more and more of our families fall in love with you within your swim lesson service area.

Applicants must be 18 or older by March 2025 in order to undergo the background check required for this job.

Introductory base pay is $25/hr until servicing 5 swimming lesson families or comfortable working independently with our app. Increase to $20 per 30 minute lesson is our Level 1 Instructor pay-rate.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct swim lessons for individuals of all ages and skill levels
- Teach proper swimming techniques and water safety skills
- Create a safe and supportive learning environment for students
- Provide feedback and guidance to help students improve their swimming abilities
- Develop lesson plans and activities that are engaging and age-appropriate
- Monitor and ensure the safety of all participants during swim lessons
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance

Skills:
- Strong behavior management skills to effectively handle different student behaviors in the water
- Experience working with children, such as in childcare or physical education settings
- Knowledge of various swimming strokes and techniques
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
- Experience working with students in other sports or physical activities (e.g., Judo, Martial arts, Cheerleading, climbing) is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and interact with students

Requirements:

-previous swim lesson instruction experience - minimum of 1 year or teaching credential

-a valid drivers license and reliable car to travel from one client to another

-a smart phone to view appointments, mark arrival and completion of lessons

-completion of Sea Love Swim's lesson curriculum course (online)

-pass a standard background check (cost $40)

-be willing to provide two character references

-must have a current first aid/cpr certificate or be willing to complete first aid/cpr class before taking clients
