What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Manager/Sales position at Miss Candice’s Dance Center?
MCDC is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager/Sales to support our growing dance studio! If you’re organized, personable, and great at multitasking, we’d love to have you on board (dance experience/knowledge not mandatory).
Responsibilities:
Manage inquiries and follow up with trial students & waitlists
Make follow-up phone calls and send emails to potential clients
Handle invoicing, payment tracking, and account questions
Maintain and restock inventory (clothing, merchandise, office supplies)
Up-sell classes, memberships, and studio apparel
Cleaning to keep the studio tidy and welcoming
Provide excellent customer service through personalized conversations
Schedule appointments and assist with class enrollment
Help organize and prepare for studio events and recitals
Work directly with the director to improve student retention and growth
Answer and manage phone calls professionally and efficiently
Assist with opening and closing responsibilities to ensure smooth operations
Job Details:
Schedule: Part-time, early evening weekday hours & Saturday mornings
Pay Starting: $20 per hour

Qualifications
- Strong inventory management and control skills
- Proven experience in retail sales and customer service
- Effective team management and supervising abilities
- Proficient in POS systems and cash register operations
- Excellent negotiation and organizational skills
- Familiarity with purchasing and payroll processes
- Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus
- Ability to perform administrative tasks and time management
