Position : Infant / Toddler Teacher

Pay Rate : Starting from $11.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Requirements : Requirements

The Infant / Toddler Teacher is responsible for developing a cohesive teaching team, coordinating the curriculum, and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. Teachers must understand children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed.

Minimum Qualifications :

CDA, TCC, and ECE credits to qualify for Lead Teacher

Associate's Degree in early childhood education or related field of study with a minimum of 30 Credits in ECE preferred

Responsibilities :

Coordinating and implementing educational curriculum

Establish and maintain an environment for children that is clean, safe, stimulating, and appropriate for each child’s developmental level.

Meet and maintain licensing requirements for ratio.

Interacts with children in accordance with developmentally appropriate practices.

Leading by example and encouraging teaching team success

Planning individual and group age-appropriate activities

Maintaining frequent communication with parents

Ensuring all center policies and state regulations are met

Supervising teacher assistants and classroom volunteers

Maintaining accurate records and files

Continuing personal and professional development for continuous quality improvement
