Our client is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join their Cancer Services team. This mid-level position involves administering radiation therapy as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist and requires interaction with diverse patient populations, healthcare professionals, and family members. Responsibilities
- Radiation Therapy Administration: Deliver radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist.
- Patient Care: Provide compassionate care to patients across all age groups, ensuring comfort and safety during treatment.
- Education and Communication: Explain radiation therapy processes to nurses, physicians, staff, and patients.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Radiation Oncologist, dosimetrist, physicist, and an experienced team of therapists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Must Haves:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiation Therapist.
- Understanding of radiation therapy, including its functions and applications.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience in a Radiation Oncology Department (preferred but not required).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Location: Lewiston, ID .
Work Hours
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
Salary: $81,120–$121,680 (based on experience).
- Sign-On Bonus: $25,000.
- Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000.
