Our client is seeking a dedicated CRT/RRT to join their team and provide exceptional respiratory care in Winchester, KY. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, respond to emergent situations, and educate patients and families. This full-time, night-shift position offers a supportive environment with opportunities for growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Measure lung capacity and analyze blood samples using a blood gas analyzer.
- Perform tobacco cessation education, bedside pulmonary function tests (PFT), and EKGs as ordered.
- Deliver and assess responses to prescribed therapy and maintain accurate patient records.
- Evaluate respiratory care policies and procedures to align with best practices and outcomes.
- Respond to codes and calls for emergency assistance, delivering appropriate treatment.
- Educate patients and families about conditions and available community resources.
- Monitor and maintain respiratory care supplies and medical gas cylinders.
- Clean, sterilize, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Fulfill additional responsibilities to meet required service levels.
Must Haves:
- Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care License (Required).
- Graduate of a CRT or RRT program (Preferred).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 60 days of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 60 days of hire.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification within 90 days of hire.
Nice to Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree (Preferred).
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently in high-stress environments.

Salary: $50,336 - $75,504
