Responsibilities:
- Perform routine x-ray and CT imaging procedures as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Ensure patient comfort and cooperation throughout imaging procedures.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols, ensuring accurate patient positioning for optimal images.
- Provide direct patient care, accommodating the needs of patients across all age groups.
- Explain procedures to patients, addressing their concerns and ensuring a positive experience.
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions during and after imaging.
- Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures, patient information, and any anomalies.
- Properly document radiation doses administered.
- Adhere to hospital and departmental attendance, punctuality, and safety guidelines.
- Follow all organizational policies and procedures.
- Wear appropriate protective clothing and equipment as necessary.
- Vocational/Technical Degree in Radiography Program.
- 1-2 years of experience in Radiology or X-Ray.
- Required: ARRT Registry eligible, to be obtained within one year of hire.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in mathematical, analytical, and clerical skills.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
