Mission Critical Partners seeks a Project Manager for our Software Implementation Services Team. You will lead technology projects, ensuring success by managing cost, time, and scope. With minimal supervision, you'll handle complex, high-risk projects aligned with state government priorities. LOCATION
Jefferson City, Missouri (Hybrid with some onsite requirements)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead project teams in analysis, design, and development tasks, including defining requirements, performing cost benefit analysis, and writing a Request for Proposal.
Develop project plans, goals, resources, budgets, schedules, and metrics for measuring results.
Establish clear project objectives and requirements agreed upon by stakeholders.
Coordinate delivery and implementation of projects to meet quality assurance standards.
Drive problem investigation and resolution, ensuring successful project delivery.
Design and maintain technical and project documentation.
Provide regular status reports, facilitate status meetings, and maintain proactive communication with clients.
Perform other assigned duties by management.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS
PMP Certification required
Bachelor’s Degree, preferred but government project leadership experience and a PMP may be substituted
Five years of successful and documented work experience in the assessment, design, implementation, and management of technologies and/or communications systems.
Five years of project management experience in a government environment
Experience writing for RFQ, RFP, presentations, and technical reports.
Ability to assess client situations, identify needs, present concepts, develop specifications and recommendations, and deliver solutions.
Valid Driver’s License with the ability to drive your own vehicle to client sites and MCP regional office locations.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field or related experience
State government experience
Five years of successful and documented work experience in the assessment, design, implementation, and management of technologies and communications systems
Five years of project management experience
PMP Certification preferred but not required depending on work experience
Excellent Communication skills, both oral and written
Experience writing for RFQ, RFP, presentations, and technical reports
Exceptional listener to understand client goals and how they measure success
Ability to assess client situations, identify needs, present concepts, develop specifications and recommendations, and deliver solutions
Valid Driver’s License with the ability to drive your own vehicle to client sites and MCP regional office locations
