Job Overview
Mission Field is a Christian Substance Abuse and Mental Health Treatment Facility Located in Nebraska City offering Inpatient and Residential. Behavior Technicians are an integral member of the team with extensive patient contact. They provide communication between the patients, Medical staff and clinicians. The Behavior Technician is responsible for the observation and monitoring of patients in treatment and reporting as requested including assisting the medical staff with vitals and ensuring patient needs are met in a timely and proficient manner. Mission Field is currently looking to fill one of our evening positions - 4pm-Midnight.
Core Responsibilities:
- Communicate patient behavior with immediate supervisor and clinical team as appropriate
- Understands and maintains patient information and records
- Ability to work with diverse populations
- Address problem behaviors as needed through verbal de-escalation techniques
- Transportation of clients
- Ensures clients attend scheduled activities
Requirements:
- Minimum of High School Diploma or Equivalent
- One year experience in behavioral health field preferred
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule
- Active Driver's License with good driving record
- Professional demeanor, and ability to act professionally with clients and staff at all time
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.23 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
