About Us:

Mission Granbury is a dynamic, multi-site, humanitarian nonprofit committed to improving the lives of individuals and families in our community through impactful programs and services. We strive to provide a positive and lasting impact through our programs, which include the Ada Carey Shelter for Women and Children, C.A.S.A. (Court Appointed Special Advocates), an Emergency Assistance Network that provides a weekly food pantry, financial support such as utilities, rent and medication, Senior Care, Veteran’s Assistance, and disaster relief. Mission Granbury also owns and operates a thriving resale shop that generates over 20% of our annual revenue. 


Mission Granbury has a staff of 33, over 100 volunteers and is governed by an 11-member Board of Directors.  


 As the Executive Director, you will be at the helm of our organization, guiding strategic initiatives and ensuring the fulfillment of our mission. Your responsibilities will include:

- Leadership and Management: Overseeing all aspects of the organization’s operations, programs, and initiatives.

- Financial Oversight: Supervising and working alongside the finance team to manage budgets, financial reporting, and ensure the financial health of the organization. 

-Grant Oversight and Management – Managing several state and federal grants including overseeing the timely submission of applications and ensuring complete grant compliance for all departments. Writing, submitting and administering other private and foundation grants as needed and available

- Strategic Planning: Collaborating with the board and key staff members to develop and implement long-term strategies that advance our mission and goals.

- Fundraising and Development: Working with a seasoned development team, creating and cultivating relationships with donors, community leaders and foundations; always exploring new revenue streams.

- Advocacy and Public Relations: Representing the organization in public forums, media engagements, and advocacy efforts.


 

What We’re Looking For:

- Ten or more years of proven leadership experience in the nonprofit sector or a related field, supervising mid-level management teams. Must have a heart for helping, compassion, empathy and respect for others and be committed to our mission to always be here to help.

-Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

-Strong financial acumen and experience in fundraising.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

-Knowledge of state and federal grant administration, grant budget management and nonprofit budget guidelines and principles

- A deep commitment to our mission and values.

- Ability to inspire and lead a diverse team.

- Experience with family violence programs preferred

-Disaster or Emergency planning desirable but not required
