Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsible for communications into and within the hospital by use of the telephone switchboard, pagers, and public address systems. Primary focus of the job is to respond quickly and courteously to all incoming calls and to route these calls to the proper extension and properly respond to and follow procedures for emergency codes.

What qualifications you will need:

• Required Education: High School Graduate / GED
• Preferred Education: Associate's Degree
• Required Experience: Proficient in the use of Microsoft Windows (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and successfully completes Windows Competency testing.
• Preferred Experience: Experience in customer service role and experience with the use of various telecommunication devices.
