Your day to day as a Systems Architect - Expert Level
As an Expert-level Systems Architect at Mission Intelligence Group in Springfield, VA, you will play a pivotal role in leading the design and development of sophisticated solutions for complex application challenges, including API design, data services, platform services, and cloud services. Your expertise will guide government initiatives in creating robust solution architectures that ensure alignment with the Enterprise Architecture. You will assist in the analysis of user requirements and workflows, striving to automate and enhance existing systems while evaluating computer capabilities. Additionally, you will oversee the development of proposed changes to the solutions architecture, leveraging the Cameo architecture tool or similar tools alongside MBSE practices.
Your leadership will coordinate the efforts of Senior, Mid, and Junior-level Systems Architects, fostering a collaborative environment focused on innovative solutions that meet user needs and strategic goals.

Required Skills and Experience:
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or related equivalent additional experience.
- Expert-level experience in government or industry in relevant work areas including: Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Data Architecture, Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), or Intelligence Community's (IC) Program Architecture Guidance (PAG).
- Demonstrated proficiency with the Cameo architecture tool, or similar tools.
- Experience with or in-depth understanding of MBSE.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program.
