What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatcher position at Mission Mechanical?
Job Summary:
The dispatcher is responsible for scheduling incoming calls and coordinating with the service technicians to ensure the right technician is allocated to the correct job. This role will occasionally be the first point of contact for customers. This role requires strong multitasking skills, a sense of urgency, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Functions:
- Answers all service calls and emails in regards to scheduling appointments, etc.
- Communicates with technicians throughout the day to provide job details, updates, and additional instructions.
- Monitors job progress and adjust schedules as needed to optimize efficiency.
- Prioritizes service requests based on urgency, technician availability, and geographic location.
- Ensures service tickets are being billed correctly.
- Works with customers on bill issues.
- Maintains maintenance agreements.
- Orders parts on occasion.
Education/Knowledge/Skills Requirements:
- SERVICE TITAN EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! NO EXCEPTIONS
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 2-4 years of experience in related position, preferably within the HVAC/Plumbing industry.
- Reliable transportation
- Microsoft Office suite knowledge preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
