Midwest Express is looking for an experienced Dispatcher to join our team.
Job Description
M-F AM Start
Transportation/Freight Dispatch experience required.
Competitive Wage offered with experience.
JOB DUTIES:
- Dispatch drivers for pickups/deliveries, Central Indiana area
- 8-10 Drivers
- Handle customer service phone calls.-
- Emailing customers.
- Process paperwork for shipments (data entry).
- Coordinate LTL linehaul.
- Coordinate and communicate with the warehouse.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Be detailed and have thorough follow up skills - A MUST!
- Be a team member as well as independently in a multi-tasking environment.
- Be able to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Be professional and have a pleasant phone presence.
- Be organized and dependable.
- Experience using Microsoft Office.
- Have excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Experience in customer service preferred.
