The Systems Analyst provides technical expertise and documentation to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise systems. This role is responsible for analyzing requirements, defining data workflows, and improving system processes. The Systems Analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to make informed decisions about system functionality and document system requirements. Responsibilities
- Gather and document functional requirements for system enhancements and new implementations.
- Coordinate and lead collaborative sessions to define system requirements and solutions.
- Translate business needs into functional requirements by engaging with stakeholders to understand key performance indicators and business objectives.
- Ensure system requirements are clear, complete, and operationally defined through documentation, including conceptual system design plans, workflows, and integration details.
- Act as a subject matter expert to research and propose solutions for applications, systems, and databases.
- Identify potential issues in applications or systems and recommend solutions to improve performance and functionality.
- Advocate for high-impact system improvements and contribute to ROI analysis.
- Follow disciplined processes, procedures, best practices, and standards to maintain system integrity.
Support and Quality Assurance
- Investigate and resolve production system issues reported by users, prioritizing based on business impact.
- Identify root causes of system issues and provide both long-term solutions and immediate workarounds when needed.
- Communicate effectively with business users to explain technical issues and provide guidance on system functionality.
- Document system performance and issue resolution for reporting and process improvement.
- Participate in on-call support rotations for critical system issues affecting business operations.
Continuous Improvement and Functional Development
- Contribute to internal initiatives aimed at improving processes, procedures, guidelines, and metrics within IT teams.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and technology strategies.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance system capabilities.

Required Education & Experience

- Experience working in Agile project teams and methodologies.
