Reports to: Terrain Park Manager
Pay Range: $16.28- $17.33/hr
Supervises: N/A
Status: Full-Time/Part-Time, Seasonal (Nov - April)

JOB SUMMARY:
Assumes responsible charge of the Terrain Parks. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: assisting guests, snow removal, shaping, maintaining a clean, orderly, safe work area. Carries out Terrain Park responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
Qualifications
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES/TASKS:
- Maintain parks across the mountain, addressing risk in freestyle terrain. Maintaining rope lines, take-offs, workspaces, signage, closures, features (boxes, rails, jumps, snow features).
- Works with all-mountain departments.
- Must be safety oriented
- Design and build creative freestyle features.
- Special events and projects for other departments.
- Maintain a flexible work schedule.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Troubleshooting and repair using hand tools, and electrical tools
- A friendly attitude and ability to help and educate guests.
- Strong communication skills with coworkers.
- Ability to ski/ride all-terrain across the mountain.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent combination of education/experience preferred.
- Previous terrain park knowledge preferred.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle tools for extended periods.
- Be able to lift or move 50 pounds or more, safely.
- Job requires good vision (color, peripheral, and depth perception).
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
- Ability to work in uncomfortable weather conditions such as dark, cold, snowy, or hot.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical equipment. The employee is frequently exposed to extreme weather conditions.
- Be able to withstand long hours of physical labor.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Seeing: Must be able to read and write reports.
- Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with coworkers.
- Standing/Walking: Regularly
- Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: Regularly
- Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: Must attempt to ski / ride terrain in all conditions w/loads up to 50lbs.
- Fingering/Grasping/Feeling: Must be able to write, type, and use phone system
