OUR CLIENT IS SEEKING A SEASONED REGIONAL VICE PRESIDENT withextensive experience in the electrical contracting industry,particularly in overseeing large-scale operations. This role is basedin the Northern California area, managing a team of 250-300 fieldstaff, and offers significant career growth opportunities, includingstock options and a car allowance. The ideal candidate will have astrong background in electrical contracting, connections within theSacramento region, and the ability to manage revenue goals of $120-125million. The position focuses on driving regional success throughstrategic leadership, operational oversight, and maintaining strongclient relationships.RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Oversee regional operations, ensuring safety, productivity, andquality control across teams.
- Manage all aspects of labor costs, manpower recruitment, projectprocurement, and contract management.
- Lead strategic planning to enhance profitability, productivity, andoperational efficiency.
- Set and manage regional profit goals in collaboration with theBoard of Directors.
- Maintain and foster strong relationships with clients, generalcontractors, and public agencies.
- Supervise engineering design teams, project schedules, and budgetmanagement.
- Mentor and develop both office and field staff through training andleadership initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety protocols, andlabor laws.
- Represent the company at industry events and maintain an activerole in related organizations.
- Facilitate proactive problem-solving on job sites, addressingpotential safety or production issues.
- Support the company’s cultural initiatives and mission at theregional level.
- Travel up to 50% of the time, as required, to meet leadership needsacross the region.MUST HAVE'S :
- 5 years in a senior leadership role within the electricalcontracting industry.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, ConstructionManagement, or a related field.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale operations with a focus onachieving profit goals.
- Extensive knowledge of strategic planning, contract negotiation,and compliance requirements.
- Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and publicspeaking.
- Experience with business reports such as profit and lossstatements, balance sheets, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Blue Beam, and other relevantsystems.LOCATION : SACRAMENTO, CASALARY : $230,000 - $300,000BENEFITS :
