Job Description
Our client is seeking a dedicated CRT / RRT to join their team andprovide exceptional respiratory care in Winchester, KY. The idealcandidate will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, respondto emergent situations, and educate patients and families. Thisfull-time, night-shift position offers a supportive environment withopportunities for growth and development.RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Measure lung capacity and analyze blood samples using a blood gasanalyzer.
- Perform tobacco cessation education, bedside pulmonary functiontests (PFT), and EKGs as ordered.
- Deliver and assess responses to prescribed therapy and maintainaccurate patient records.
- Evaluate respiratory care policies and procedures to align withbest practices and outcomes.
- Respond to codes and calls for emergency assistance, deliveringappropriate treatment.
- Educate patients and families about conditions and availablecommunity resources.
- Monitor and maintain respiratory care supplies and medical gascylinders.
- Clean, sterilize, and perform preventative maintenance onequipment.
- Fulfill additional responsibilities to meet required servicelevels.MUST HAVES :
- Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care License (Required).
- Graduate of a CRT or RRT program (Preferred).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 60days of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 60 daysof hire.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification within 90 daysof hire.NICE TO HAVES :
- Bachelor’s degree (Preferred).
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
