- Install, configure, and deploy system hardware and software.
- Set up and maintain VMware virtual environments.
- Automate and manage Windows and Linux systems using tools like Ansible and Puppet.
- Research and recommend innovative, scalable solutions.
- Ensure hardware, servers, and processes operate efficiently.
- Conduct regular security monitoring and system backups.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Provide technical support and recover systems from failures.
- Apply OS patches, upgrades, and configure administrative tools.
- Optimize system performance and resource allocations.
- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations and procedures.
- Oversee data center monitoring and environmental equipment.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Systems Engineer or related role.
- Proficiency in administering Windows Server and Linux systems.
- Experience with automation tools such as Puppet, Ansible, or similar.
- Advanced knowledge of VMware virtualization technologies.
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Team-oriented with effective collaboration skills.
- Preferred: Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Preferred: Professional certifications and familiarity with web hosting architecture (e.g., IIS, NGINX, SQL).
