Director / Area Director - Data Center / Electrical
Role and Responsibilities :
Ensures projects are completed safely, on budget, on schedule, and per design specifications.
Provides leadership on construction methods, costs, and project direction.
Guides Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams, fostering leadership development.
Coordinates labor, equipment, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Facilitates estimate reviews and project budget planning.
Directs pre-job planning and reviews lessons learned.
Oversees schedule creation, labor forecasts, and milestone tracking.
Ensures proper cost coding and tracking for project budgets.
Actively monitors and adjusts project budgets and schedules.
Ensures timely invoice submissions and addresses cash flow issues.
Maintains accurate cost reports and project updates in ERP.
Leads subcontract and purchase order processes to minimize risk.
Ensures the project team understands all contracts.
Evaluates team members and aligns their strengths to the project.
Leads reviews with owners, contractors, and suppliers to resolve issues.
Maintains positive relationships with internal and external teams.
Ensures timely job close-out and participates in business development.
Motivated team player, fostering collaboration to meet client and company needs.
Our Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree and 7-8 years of hands-on experience in the electrical industry.
4-5 years of managerial experience leading construction teams, specializing in electrical systems and client solutions.
Proven success in delivering large-scale electrical projects safely, on time, and within budget.
Strong leadership skills with a focus on mentoring and developing project management teams.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams, clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Committed to ongoing learning and professional growth.
Willing to travel as needed to support multiple project teams in the region.
Collaborative team player with a focus on safety, efficiency, and achieving project goals.
