Position will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in conducting inventories and assessments of products in the General Store, as well as driving market development and promotion of the museum through marketing initiatives. Their role involves determining the type, quality, and quantity of products to be used for selling and promoting the museum. They are also responsible for managing and training staff or contract workers involved in the daily operations of the store or in marketing the museum's products. Additionally, they assist in handling all accounting, invoices, and the general budget for the General Store. Some evening and weekend work may be required, and the individual must obtain Servsafe certification during their employment.
