Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Grant Writer to join our team at Mississippi Delta Community College. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, defining and developing funding sources to support existing and planned program activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of proposals and grant applications
- Researching, identifying and developing public and private grant opportunities
- Liaising with college personnel to gather input for projects and comply with requests for data and information
- Developing and maintaining a library of information on funding sources, grant writing and community and state data
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Three years of experience in grant writing and proposal development
- Ability to exercise initiative, independent judgment and discretion in performing tasks
