About the Role:
The Grant Writer will play a critical role in supporting the mission of Mississippi Delta Community College by securing external funding to enhance academic programs and services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for researching and identifying grant opportunities, preparing grant proposals and managing the grant application process.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attend meetings and strategic convening(s) as needed
- Collaborate with college personnel to gather input for projects and comply with requests for data and information
- Coordinate and develop grant applications from conceptual to submission stage
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Three years of experience in grant writing and proposal development
- Excellent research, analytical and communication skills
