What are the responsibilities and job description for the VMI Specialist/Inside Sales Representative position at Mississippi Welders Supply?
The Inside Sales Representative/Account Specialist is responsible for servicing area VMI customer accounts and assisting with general business operations of the branch.
Primary duties:
Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) duties for MWSCO branch location
· Pick, pack, load and deliver product to customers accordingly
· Maintain established stock levels at customer locations
· Maintain relationships with key customer personnel
· Ensure that customer questions and concerns are promptly and courteously resolved
· Assist with repairs and operations of vending machines as necessary
· Maintain a high level of MWSCO product knowledge in order to keep customers educated and informed on industry products and standards
Sales Activities
· Work with existing customers to actively sell products and services
· Leverage relationships to grow sales within existing established customers
· Assist with answering phone calls as needed when working in the store
· Assist with front counter customer service as needed when working in the store

- Ability to operate industry specific and standard office software proficiently

Physical Demands
- Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to work in varied weather conditions and business locations
- Frequent kneeling, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting
