What are the responsibilities and job description for the Job Site Manager position at Missouri Housing Solutions?
Missouri Housing Solutions LLC is a real estate investment company, locally and family owned, focusing on primarily single-family home investments. We operate a small, full-time construction crew. This crew does remodel work on existing properties owned by our business. They also maintain our inventory of rentals, as well as new houses that we build for investment.
We are looking for a project manager to lead, manage, and work with our construction crew.
The ideal candidate would be a self-motivated and positive person with extensive construction and remodeling experience.
Project managers duties will include:
1. Manage and oversee the construction crew to make sure they are productively moving in the direction outlined for the specific project that they are working on.
2. Make sure that the necessary tools and materials are available in a timely manner to keep the projects moving forward and the crew productive.
3. Coordinate with management and suppliers for getting materials to the job site.
4. Coordinate with management and subcontractors to get the subcontractor’s work completed in a timely manner.
5. Oversee the safety and cleanliness of all job sites.
6. Meet with management weekly and as needed to determine job site schedules and critical decisions.
7. Physically work with the crew as much as time allows to assist in moving along the projects.
Qualities needed for our Project Manager.
1. A self-motivated and positive attitude with a focus on productively getting projects completed and done correctly.
2. Extensive construction experience.
3. The ability to work with and manage 2-6 people and manage 2-3 projects at once.
4. A valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
5. Good communication and problem-solving skills.
6. Attention to detail and pride in quality work.
7. The ability and willingness to be organized.
8. The desire and ability to continually learn and improve on construction abilities and techniques.
9. The physical ability to do construction work.
