What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing Analyst position at Missouri River Energy Services?
Reports To: Manager of Customer Service and Billing
Hours: 7:30AM-4:00PM This is a full-time (40 hours/ week), non-exempt, non-union position.
Compensation and Benefits: Starting Pay: $33.22 – $41.53
Benefits include Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Long-Term Disability, Basic Life and AD&D, Health Saving Account, Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA) and Deferred Compensation. Paid vacation, sick leave (ESST) and holidays.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Processes monthly billing for all ALP divisions (electric, water, & outside billing-sewer/storm water.)
- Load/Unload Itron handheld meter reading devices.
- Print PreBill reports, review and correct as needed.
- Submits, Monitors/Reviews and Returns Service Orders for Read In/Outs.
- Process data regarding meter changes, sewer hand calculations, corrections, and estimations.
- Schedules Yearly Billing on NISC calendar
Education / Experience:
- Minimum: Associates Degree in Business or a related field, two or more years experience in customer billing and data analysis, and knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Preferred: Utility billing experience, attention to detail, strong math skills, accuracy on documentation, ability to work with others at a quick pace.
