City Manager – Benson, Minnesota
The City of Benson is seeking to recruit its next City Manager to lead its staff and manage its municipal services including airport, police, fire, streets, full utilities, aquatic center, liquor store, golf course, parks and recreation, EDA, HRA and an electric distribution utility with a 10MW municipal electric power plant.
The minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in public administration or related field. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a responsible management position with broad municipal operating and budgeting experience. Knowledge of sewer, water, and electric utilities operations and utility capacity planning.
