Summary Of Responsibilities:

Responsible for oversight, evolution, and management of the organization’s development software and tools, giving platforms, development procedures and analytics, and integrations including constituent relationship management (CRM) database and digital giving systems, gift processing and acknowledgement practices, development data governance, and the design, production, and assessment of data-driven analytic resources and systems aimed at guiding and improving all aspects of the fundraising program. All responsibilities are guided by the organization’s mission, vision, strategic plan, and financial parameters approved by the board of directors.

Specific Responsibilities:

·Enter all individual and corporate pledges, payments, sponsorships, designations, hero club leadership giving levels, and customer relationship notes on a year-round basis.

· Develops and oversees all department standard operating procedures related to donor records, data definitions and protocols, data security measures, gift acceptance and gift processing systems, data vendor partnerships, and other development functions.

· Oversees and manages the health of the CRM database to include system updates, upgrades, security, user rights, system design, training, administrative functions, enhanced utilization, and integrations.

· Oversees and manages the accurate recording of private contributions, grants, bequests, pledges, stock donations, special events, and other private contributions along with all related data integrity measures across all donor types including creation of an annual campaign map.

· Processes and maintains pledge receivables; prepare billings as required; respond to inquiries from donors and accountant; contact businesses and individuals. Run monthly reports for accountant. Reconcile campaign reports. Enter pledges, payments, designations, and leadership giving levels.

· Oversees and manages the system to properly acknowledge, digital and print, all donor contributions in compliance with practices and policies set by the MSA United Way and required by law.

· Oversees month-end private revenue reconciliation in conjunction with the accounting department.

· Offers support and service to donors/prospective donors as it relates to their gift giving, acceptance, pledge reminders, and receipting activity.

· Designs, manages, and executes all internal and external fundraising reports, which includes ongoing and annual comparative reports on giving results, monthly and annual fundraising performance reports, key performance indicators, peer group benchmarks, industry metrics, campaign management, quarterly and annual Network Activity Reports for Feeding America, and other reports.

· Designs, produces, provides, and presents timely and pertinent reports on development data analytics to development team members, leadership team, and other colleagues as appropriate and upon request, as well as creating automated reports for recurring data needs.

· Oversees, manages, and executes the preparation of development information for financial audits, state solicitation registration and reports, Form 990, and other fundraising-related data support for and with staff of the accounting department.

· Oversees and manages the process of providing properly formatted constituent data lists to support direct mail solicitations, online giving activities, and other constituent communications and activities.

· Uses CRM data analysis, web analytics methods, data mining techniques, and other research/analysis tools and means (wealth screening) to help determine and assess donor giving motivations and behaviors, to help advance development and institutional goals for growth.

· Facilitates a comprehensive moves management program in partnership with relationship managers by hosting monthly meetings, identifying prospects and lapsed from gift activity, and major gift report development to ensure the coordination of major gift solicitation activity, optimization of the departments fundraising efforts, and deepening donor engagement with our mission.

· Annual analysis of donor file for segmentation leading up to portfolio build and budgeting by the relationship managers.

· Supports organization’s participation in national and regional charity rating systems to attain seals of certification to assure strong stewardship of donor gifts.

· Development, management and quarterly updates to development and communications team annual workplan, donor engagement plan, and key performance indicators; working with team annually to establish fiscal year goals and plans.

· Updating MSA United Way’s strategic tracking document quarterly with departmental information.

· Facilitates the cross-department grants management system for identification, acceptance, filing, and tracking awards and progress/final reports.

· Responsible for receiving, processing, and acknowledging with receipt all private contributions.

· Complete various United Way Worldwide campaign surveys and requirements.

· Facilitate the annual program investment process: prepare funding application documents; schedule Community Impact Committee meetings; notify agencies and public of RFP timeline and financial awards; administer and monitor quarterly reporting system.

· Assist with other duties as assigned.

ACCOUNTABILITY: Reports to the Operations Director

CLASSIFICATION: Full time Non-exempt

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A two-year accounting or finance degree and/or business administration, extensive computer experience and knowledge, and one or more years of experience in a data entry, finance or accounting related position. Ability to work effectively with a variety of people.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
