The successful candidate will be responsible for independently generating reports, maintaining records, and monitoring employment information per established procedures. They will also be responsible for general administrative duties for Human Resources at the Freedom Mine.
Essential Duties:

The successful candidate will be responsible for independently generating reports, maintaining records, and monitoring employment information per established procedures. They will also be responsible for general administrative duties for Human Resources at the Freedom Mine.
Essential Duties:
- Maintains employee files in accordance to Company procedures
- Manages the filing system and follows the records retention policy
- Prepares Coteau and Corporate office reports as required, such as monthly staff reports, AAP, EEO, etc.
- Verifies employment information to lending institutions
- Maintains the Company's drug and alcohol testing program
- Oversees Coteau's food mart and acts as point of contact
- Maintains database of Coteau's key fob assignments
- Coodinates locker room assignments
- Coodinates and maintains workforce performance review process
- Assists with onboarding of hires, including entering employee information in HR software
- Assists with annual open enrollment, benefit, payroll, recruitment and day-to-day HR functions
- Assist with the Company's wellness programs
- Performs job duties in accordance with MSHA law and regulations, established company safety procedures, and state and federal regulations
- Provides support for the Human Resource department
- Receptionist duties as assigned
- Administers HR vendor contracts
- Coodinates Company meetings and events
- Maintains a strong working relationship with mine site employees and vendors
- Complies with all employment laws, rules and regulations and assists in keeping the Company in compliance
- Performs other duties as assigned
