Store Manager
Duties:
- Oversee the daily operations of the store, ensuring efficient and effective performance
- Manage and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
- Develop and implement strategies to increase store profitability
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure adequate stock availability
- Create and maintain a visually appealing store layout to attract customers
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and provide training
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Implement loss prevention measures to minimize theft and maximize store security
- Prepare sales reports and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
Experience:
- Previous experience in retail management/foodservice is preferred
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to interact with customers, employees, and suppliers effectively
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Experience in training development to enhance the skills of the sales team
- Proven ability to manage a team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation
- Familiarity with budgeting processes to ensure financial targets are met
- Multilingual abilities are a plus
