Handyman/Laborer

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set and be comfortable performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks. This role is essential in ensuring that properties remain in excellent condition, providing both aesthetic and functional value. The Handy Man will work independently and collaboratively with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Duties

• Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, drywall repairs, carpentry, and painting.
• Conduct repairs on various fixtures and appliances as needed.
• Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from clients or management.
• Ensure all work is completed to high standards of quality and safety.
• Maintain an organized workspace and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
• Assist in the installation of new equipment or fixtures as required.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding project updates and timelines.

Skills

• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment, including an ohmmeter.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
• Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
• Ability to manage time efficiently while handling multiple tasks or projects simultaneously.
• Basic knowledge of building codes and safety regulations related to maintenance work.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
