Shooting Range Sales Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team selling firearms and welcoming customers to our shooting range. Our ideal candidate is a person who hunts profusely, shoots at the range a lot, or has lots of real personal experience with shooting sports. We are looking or people who love guns and the outdoors and most importantly are cool people to be around.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
• Demonstrate product features and benefits through effective product demos.
• Utilize upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and increase overall sales.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and displayed attractively.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly, maintaining a positive shopping experience.

Requirements

• Personal history, experience, and enthusiasm for guns and gun culture. We are not looking for "My dad was a cop" Or I used to hunt with my grandpa". We are looking for people that can talk about their own gun collections and what they like and dislike about guns and the gun culture
• Experience with federal gun regulations, 4473 forms
• Experience with the NFA process and silencers is preferred
• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing change accurately.
• Familiarity with phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Experience with cash registers and cash handling is a plus.
• A proactive attitude towards learning new products and sales techniques.
• Ability to use the internet, email, Microsoft excel.
