Mitchell County Regional Health Center is in Osage, Iowa located in Mitchell County, which has a population of 10,600 people. MCRHC is a 25-bed critical access hospital, including a Level 4 Trauma Center Emergency Room seeing 3,200 visits annually. The Surgical Services department performs over 1,300 procedures annually, including specialties General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, Pain management, and Podiatry.

Position: We have a great opportunity for the right person! MCRHC has a retiring director you can mentor with for up to 6 months! The department is well run, stable and achieves revenue cycle key process indicator results that are some of the BEST for a critical access hospital. |
Position Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or 5 years of equivalent experience
- Experience:
- Three (3) or more years collection or billing experience; hospital &/or clinic business office billing and collections preferred.
- Three (3) or more years experience as Team Leader or Supervisor preferred.
- Must have a minimum of three-five years of experience with hospital &/or clinic patient accounting and third-party regulations.
